Marshal is a squirrel villager with the “smug” personality that you can befriend in Animal Crossing New Horizons. With over 300 villagers that can come to live on your island, it’s not a super high probability that Marshal will choose yours to set up camp.

If you’re not lucky enough (like me) to have Marshal, at least you can make him with this free crochet pattern. His design appeals so much to my aesthetic, with his big head, itty bitty arms, and most importantly, the permanent scowl.
